LeRae signed with WWE in January 2018 and quickly joined her husband Johnny Gargano’s feud with NXT Champion Andrade “Cien” Almas and his manager Zelina Vega. She defeated Vega in a match and started wrestling actively. However, Bianca Belair handed her the first loss.

In early 2020, LeRae entered the women’s Royal Rumble match. She then turned heel by helping her husband, Johnny Gargano, defeat Tommaso Ciampa. Sporting a new look, she beat Kacy Catanzaro and started feuds with Mia Yim and Keith Lee.
LeRae won a battle royal to challenge Io Shirai for the NXT Women’s Championship. She and Gargano lost a “Champions vs. Challengers” tag team match. LeRae didn’t win the title at NXT TakeOver 31 and lost a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match to Shirai at NXT: Halloween Havoc.
She led a team to victory in the second women’s WarGames match. LeRae then formed The Way with Gargano, Indi Hartwell, and Austin Theory. She and Hartwell won the first-ever women’s match on 205 Live and the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship. However, they lost the titles to Io Shirai and Zoey Stark after an attack by Tegan Nox.
The Way disbanded following LeRae’s pregnancy, Gargano’s contract expiration, and Theory’s move to Raw. LeRae’s WWE contract ended in May 2022.
Return (2022–present)
